We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to commence a Painting Apprenticeship with one of our valued clients. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn all aspects of the painting and decorating trade while gaining hands‐on experience in a professional setting.
Please note: This position is not a job with Building Industry Training. If you are successful in securing the apprenticeship, Building Industry Training will deliver the formal training component throughout your apprenticeship.
About the Role
As a Painting Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified tradespeople and learn skills including:
Surface preparation
Application of paints, stains, varnishes, and protective coatings
Use and maintenance of painting tools and equipment
Reading and interpreting work plans
Working safely on residential and commercial worksites
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
A current driver's licence
Your own reliable transport
A genuine interest in the painting trade
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
