This is an exciting chance for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a public health service in stunning Western Australia.
Working within an acute inpatient mental health unit, you'll play a key role supporting consumers through some of the most challenging stages of their recovery, while enjoying everything regional & coastal WA has to offer outside of work.
The RoleYou'll be managing an acute inpatient mental health caseload alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team, working with adults experiencing a range of complex presentations including:
Schizophrenia
Depression
Drug-induced psychosis
Patients in the acute phase of mental illness
As the sole Occupational Therapist within the service, you'll need to be confident working independently, managing your own caseload, and providing high-quality, patient-centred care while collaborating closely with the wider MDT.
About YouWe're looking for someone who has:
AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Experience working in acute or inpatient mental health




Level 1 or Level 2 clinician experience
Confidence working autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills
