We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Carpentry Apprentice to join one of our valued clients within the building and construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a long-term career in carpentry with hands-on experience across residential and/or commercial projects.
About the Role
As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified tradespeople, learning the skills required to become a competent carpenter. You will gain practical, on-the-job experience while completing your nationally recognised qualification.
This apprenticeship is hosted with one of our industry clients, while Building Industry Training will deliver and support the successful completion of the apprenticeship training.
Key Responsibilities;
Assist qualified carpenters with day-to-day tasks on site
Learn and apply carpentry techniques and processes
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Measure, cut, and assemble materials
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow workplace health and safety requirements
Attend and complete all required training and assessments
Must have;
Genuine interest in carpentry and the construction industry
Robust work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
White Card (Construction Induction) or willingness to obtain
Driver's licence and reliable transport
