One of our valued employers is seeking a motivated Waterproofing Apprentice to join their team. This is a great opportunity to start a hands‐on trade career in a specialised and high‐demand area of the construction industry.
Building Industry Training (RTO *****) will deliver all training and assessment for the apprenticeship, with onsite support throughout your qualification.

About the Role
As a Waterproofing Apprentice, you will learn how to prepare surfaces, apply waterproofing membranes, seal wet areas, interpret site drawings, use hand and power tools safely, and complete work to industry compliance standards. You will work closely with experienced tradespeople who will guide you as you develop strong skills in this essential trade.
This role suits someone who enjoys physical work, pays attention to detail, and is committed to learning a specialised construction skillset.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and cleaning work surfaces
Help apply waterproofing products and membranes
Follow application processes for wet areas, balconies, basements, etc.
Mix and handle waterproofing materials safely
Use tools and equipment under supervision




Maintain safe and clean workspaces
Attend scheduled training and complete apprenticeship tasks
Follow WHS procedures and work safely on-site

What We're Looking For
Must hold a current Driver's Licence
Must hold a White Card
Northside‐based candidates strongly preferred
Reliable, punctual and motivated to learn
Physically capable of manual labour
Positive attitude and willingness to follow instructions

What's Provided
Full‐time role: 38 hrs per week (Mon–Fri)
Company UTE available for the right apprentice
Training and assessment provided by Building Industry Training

A nationally recognised qualification upon completion
