Techskill Academy, a part of the EFLR group, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting employers and students participating in Queensland government-funded training programs, in particular the Skills Assure Program.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established, top 6%, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and work at the intersection of vocational education, employer engagement, and workforce development.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will manage a portfolio of students and employers throughout their training journey, ensuring exceptional service, strong stakeholder relationships, and compliance with Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) funding requirements.
About the Role
As the primary point of contact for students, employers and key external stakeholders, you will manage accounts from initial enquiry and eligibility assessment through to enrolment, training contract registration and ongoing account support.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing relationships with students, employers and industry stakeholders
Conducting eligibility and suitability assessments for government-funded training programs
Supporting employer engagement and workforce development initiatives
Managing and progressing warm leads through the enrolment process
Maintaining accurate CRM and student management system records
Ensuring compliance with funding contract requirements and internal procedures
Monitoring account health and proactively resolving issues
Providing reporting and insights on enrolment activity, pipeline performance and account status
Working closely with Operations, Training, Compliance and Student Support teams to deliver outstanding outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role,



you will bring:
Previous experience in account management, client relationship management or stakeholder engagement
Experience working within or alongside an RTO environment
Knowledge of government-funded training programs, apprenticeships or traineeships
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records
The ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Highly regarded:
Experience with Skills Assure Supplier (SAS), User Choice or Certificate 3 Guarantee funding programs
Experience using HubSpot and/or aXcelerate
Existing networks within Queensland industry, employers or vocational education sectors
