We are seeking a enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Treatment Plant Operator.
Whether you already hold a Certificate III Water Industry operations or have experience in wastewater, reticulation, treatment operations, mechanical maintenance, or a similar field, and you're looking to progress your career in the water industry, we encourage you to apply.
Comprehensive training, mentorship, and support will be provided, including the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations where applicable.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
A strong work ethic and commitment to safetyA willingness to learn and develop new skillsProblem-solving abilities and attention to detailThe ability to work effectively in a team environmentExperience in wastewater, reticulation, treatment operations or a related field (desirable but not essential)
About the Role
Working alongside experienced operators, you will assist with the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs and associated infrastructure.
Duties include:
Operating and monitoring treatment processes and equipmentSampling and testing water and wastewaterConducting inspections and minor maintenanceMonitoring plant performance and compliance requirementsSupporting environmental and safety outcomes
