Indigeco is recruiting a Business Development Manager for our client, a purpose-led First Nations workplace supplies business.
This role is focused on driving sales growth by identifying, engaging and winning new customers across the public and private sectors.
Success in this role will come from your ability to build relationships that matter, understand customer needs, develop strategic acquisition plans and secure long-term partnerships that deliver both commercial value and meaningful social impact.
This is an Identified position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted public and private sector accounts, building a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
Develop and execute strategic new business plans to achieve sales targets, maximise revenue and support long-term customer growth
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, anticipate trends and identify opportunities to position the organisation's products and services
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers, procurement teams and key stakeholders within prospective accounts
Lead commercial conversations and negotiations, including contracts, pricing, terms and customer requirements
Develop competitive proposals and pitches that demonstrate commercial value, procurement benefits and meaningful social impact
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts,
account activity updates and performance reporting

YOUR REQUIREMENTS
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity
Experience in business development, sales, account management, partnerships or a similar customer-facing commercial role
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting, influencing and building trusted relationships
Proven ability to plan and implement sales strategies, manage pipelines and work towards targets
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including the ability to understand pricing, value propositions and customer requirements
Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities in a goal-driven environment
Confidence using CRM systems to maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline and reporting records
YOUR PERKS
Annual salary of $120K + Super + 15K Car Allowance + 1.5K Phone Allowance + 12K commission guaranteed for the first 6 months
