The Opportunity
As a Roving Maintenance Officer, you will provide maintenance support, compliance oversight and leave coverage across Aeralife's New South Wales residences.
Working alongside Residence Managers, the Property team and Maintenance Manager, you will ensure facilities remain compliant, operational and presented to a standard that reflects the premium quality of our aged care communities.

Key Responsibilities
You will:
Travel across New South Wales residences providing maintenance coverageConduct building audits and quality inspectionsComplete preventative and reactive maintenance worksAssist with painting,



repairs and minor building projectsMaintain fire safety compliance requirementsManage equipment testing and tagging programsMonitor asset registers and maintenance recordsCoordinate approved contractor worksReview building issues and report maintenance risksSupport room readiness for resident admissionsEnsure compliance with workplace health and safety requirementsParticipate in quality improvement activities and operational objectivesMaintain safe handling and storage of tools, equipment and materials
About You
You are a reliable, practical and customer-focused maintenance professional who enjoys delivering high standards across multiple locations.
You are comfortable working autonomously and have a strong commitment to safety, quality and service excellence.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
Demonstrated experience in building maintenance, facilities or property servicesKnowledge of WHS obligations and compliance requirementsExperience using maintenance equipment and tools safelyStrong communication and relationship-building skillsExcellent organisational and time-management skillsComputer literacy and administration skillsAbility and willingness to travel across New South WalesCurrent NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent Australian Driver LicenceFull Australian working rightsCOVID-19 vaccination status (highly recommended)
