Whether you are looking for work-life balance or seeking to maximize your earnings with penalty-rate overtime, this role offers the best of both worlds.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, Set Up & Operate: Write, modify, and optimize programs using coversational Siemens controls (Sinumerik) for CNC Lathes.Machining Operations: Manufacture high-precision components directly from technical engineering drawings to precise tolerances.Tooling & Setup: Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and work-holding fixtures for maximum production efficiency.Quality Assurance: Inspect finished parts using standard precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure compliance.Workshop Standards: Maintain a safe, clean workplace and participate in team continuous improvement efforts.What We Are Looking ForTrade Qualified:



Australian Recognized Trade Certificate (Fitter & Turner, Machinist, or equivalent qualification).
Siemens Controller Experience: Proven track record programming, setting, and operating CNC Lathes using Siemens G-code / Sinumerik controls.Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T; specifications.Detail-Oriented: A strong commitment to precision, job safety, and high-quality workmanship.What We OfferWork-Life Balance: Monday to Friday Day Shift only, with Half-Day Fridays—finish early every week!
