OUR STORY
The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act ****.
The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people in the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.
The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

THE ROLE
SP002 - Senior Planning and Performance Officer
Base Salary: $115,873 per annum, with the potential for negotiation subject to CEO approval.
Full Time - Fixed Term (6 or 12-month contract options available)
Key Functions
The Senior Planning and Performance Coordinator plays a key role in strengthening organisational planning, performance and accountability across the Central Land Council (CLC).




The position coordinates the Corporate Plan, organisational performance framework, performance reporting and Senate Estimates preparation, and contributes to section strategic planning.
Working closely with managers, the Executive Management Team and Council delegates, the role provides strategic advice to management and performance analysis to improve organisational effectiveness and ensure compliance with Commonwealth performance requirements.
The candidate will exhibit strong strategic thinking, planning, monitoring, and reporting capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
Bringing autonomy in driving projects, supporting organisational engagement, with a continuous improvement and capacity building approach to assist the CLC to deliver effectively on its strategic goals.

Total effective package includes: base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options.
Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance.
