The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person- centred care in alignment with the needs and wishes of each client, focusing on maintaining comfort, dignity, and quality of life.Key Responsibilities:Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, dressing, grooming, and toiletingAssist with mobility, transfers, and positioningOffer emotional and social support, helping clients and their families navigate challenging timesAssist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutritionMonitor the physical and emotional well-being of clients, reporting any changes in condition to healthcare professionalsWork collaboratively with nurses, healthcare providers, and families to provide tailored care to each clientImplement palliative care approaches,



focusing on pain management, comfort, and emotional supportMaintain accurate and up-to-date care documentation, adhering to confidentiality and compliance standardsEssential Requirements:Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalentExperience working in aged care environmentsUnderstanding of palliative care principles and practicesFirst Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)National Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and respectful approach to careJob Types: Part time, CasualPay: From $***** per hourWork Location: In person
