About the RoleWe're looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Assistant to join our team at Buckland Park.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
You'll play an important part in supporting our composting operations, working both independently and alongside our Operations and Maintenance teams to help keep the site running safely and efficiently.
If you enjoy working outdoors, keeping active, and being part of a supportive team, this could be the opportunity you're looking for.
Hours: 5:45am – 1:51pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and maintain sprinkler systems to support the composting process.
Monitor, record and enter watering data using digital systems.
Complete pipe cleaning, maintenance and airflow checks.
Assist with cleaning plant and machinery.
Carry out general labouring and housekeeping tasks across site.
Support the Operations and Maintenance teams as required.
Maintain a strong focus on safety and environmental standards.
