Dockhand with Forklift Licence – Bendigo Region
Chandler Macleod is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Dockhand / Forklift Driver
to join our client's team in the Bendigo Region.
This part-time, casual
role is ideal for someone looking for consistent morning shifts
and the chance to grow in a supportive, safety-first workplace.
While the primary focus is on forklift operation and dockhand duties, applicants holding a valid HR Truck Licence
will have the opportunity to take on occasional driving tasks—offering greater variety and potential for additional hours.
Shift Details:
Monday to Friday
Morning shifts, 5am start doing minimum 5 hour days
Possibility of working up to 8 hours
depending on daily requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts safely to load and unload parcels
Perform manual handling and freight sorting tasks
Support smooth and efficient dock operations




Conduct safety checks and report equipment issues
Occasionally assist with HR truck deliveries
Adhere to safety protocols, road regulations, and company policies
About You:
Valid Forklift Licence
(essential)
Valid HR Truck Licence
(required for driving tasks)
Physically fit
for manual handling and fast-paced work
Experience unloading B Doubles would be advantageous
Must be able to pass a National Police Check
Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol (D&A;) test
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Strong team player
with excellent communication skills
