Reporting to the site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the safe execution of blasting activities while ensuring compliance with site procedures, legislative requirements and Drillforce's high operation standard
What you'll need to bring:
Minimum 2 years' experience in open cut shotfiring Experience preparing production and contour blast patterns Surface blast loading, stemming and tie-in experience Experience supervising and directing blast crews Strong understanding of drill and blast operations within mining environments Proven ability to lead teams and work effectively under pressure A strong commitment to safety and the ZERO Harm culture
Essential Requirements Current and valid Shotfirer's Ticket HR Driver's Licence (Desirable) Dangerous Goods Security Card Current First Aid & CPR Certificate National Police Clearance within 3 months (or ability to obtain) As part of the recruitment process, applicants will undergo Pre-Employment Medical Testing, including Drug and Alcohol screening.
Successful candidates will also be subject to random screenings while on assignment.
