Who We AreKoala Electrical is a growing, well-resourced business of 10 people built on a simple promise: exceptional work, every time.
We've earned a five-star reputation — backed by 270+ Google reviews — by caring deeply about our clients, our craft and our team.
Providing top quality service is at the forefront of everything we do — from our office team and schedulers through to our technicians — and it shows in everything we deliver.
We invest in our people.
That means real support, hands-on coaching and the time you need to understand and master your role.
We hold ourselves to a high standard, and we take care of those who hold themselves to the same.
Is This You?
Here's the truth: we can teach you the systems, the software and the job flow.
What we can't teach is being genuinely helpful, dependable and switched-on — so that's what we're looking for first.
We need someone who's motivated, warm on the phone, and takes real ownership of their day.
If you're the person who follows through without being chased, who notices what needs doing before you're asked, and who takes pride in being the person others can rely on — you'll fit right in here.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
If it doesn't, that's okay too — this just isn't the role for you.
The RoleAs our Administrator & Scheduler, you're the first voice clients hear and the engine that keeps our technicians moving.
You'll own the day-to-day administrative operation — from first enquiry to final invoice — and you'll take pride in doing it exceptionally well.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing client communications with professionalism and warmth
• Scheduling and coordinating our field technicians efficiently
• Creating and managing work orders from start to finish
• Preparing quotes and invoices for smaller jobs
• Handling general office administration and compliance tasks
• Being the reliable link between clients and our operations team
What You BringWe're after someone who is genuinely great at what they do.
You'll ideally have:
• Experience in trade-based administration (electrical industry experience an advantage)
• Excellent phone manner and written communication skills
• Sharp attention to detail — accuracy matters in every interaction
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing clarity or direction
• A solid grasp of job flow and scheduling logic
• Confident, everyday use of Microsoft Office
• ServiceM8 experience highly regarded
Who You AreSkills matter, but so does character.
The person who thrives here will be:
• A clear communicator — you listen first, then respond with clarity and confidence
• Accountable — you follow through on commitments and take ownership of your actions
• A natural relationship-builder with clients, colleagues and suppliers
• Adaptable and calm when priorities shift (and they will)
• Collaborative — you make the people around you better
• Someone with sound judgement who acts with integrity, every time
Our CultureAt Koala Electrical, we care about doing quality work, supporting each other and continually raising the bar.

We stay aligned through monthly toolbox meetings, celebrate together through regular team events, and hold ourselves to a simple standard: share the wins, own the mistakes.
This isn't a place where valuable work goes unnoticed.
We also understand that personal and professional growth matters.
We're committed to investing in the people who invest with us.
How to ApplyIf this sounds like the right fit, we'd love to hear from you.
Please send a cover letter telling us about you, your relevant experience, and why you're the right person to join our team, along with your CV.
We look forward to meeting our next A-grade team member.
