About the Role
Based in our offices in Edinburgh Parks, SA , we are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Payroll Officer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Process weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payroll accurately and on time.
Maintain employee payroll records and employment data.
Calculate wages, salaries, overtime, allowances, deductions, and leave entitlements.
Ensure compliance with Fair Work, taxation, superannuation,



and payroll legislation.
Respond to payroll-related enquiries from employees and managers.
Reconcile payroll reports and assist with audits.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a Payroll Officer position.
Strong knowledge of payroll processes and Australian payroll legislation.
Experience using payroll systems (e.g., Chris21, MicrOpay, Employment Hero, MYOB, or similar).
High attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
