We are looking for:Furniture Retail Sales in the Port Kennedy area.Weekly Hours Averaging 22.5 to 30 hours.
Able to work weekends will be a plus, not but requiredPreferably someone with previous retail experience (preferably in the bedding/furniture industry).
Experience with robust customer service and attention to detailUnderstanding of visual merchandising standardsSomeone with good verbal communication skills and decency in English fluencySomeone who has computer literacy as most tasks are handled in the systemHigh attention to detail to ensure all goods are correctly labelled and pricedAbility to work in a small team and follow procedural stepsExample of Daily Tasks:Closing sales, writing up sales quotes and invoices using a POS system.Following up on customer enquiries/queries by phone and emailRecord customer problemsKnowledge of knowing and being able to explain assembly of sofa/beds/cabinets to customerVacuuming and keeping showroom floor tidyCleaning and dusting furniture on the showroomPost ads of products on advertising platform eg.
