M&A; Steel Fabrication is a well-established steel fabrication company servicing the grain handling, chemical, mining, and industrial sectors throughout Western Australia.
We specialise in the fabrication and installation of structural steel, hoppers, chutes, tanks, conveyors, and mechanical equipment, delivering high-quality workmanship with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Boilermakers/Welders to join our workshop and site teams.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role that offers a variety of workshop fabrication and site installation work.
You'll be involved in producing high-quality fabricated steelwork while working alongside an experienced team on interesting and challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
Fabricate and weld structural steel, hoppers, chutes, tanks, conveyors, and mechanical equipment.
Perform MIG, FCAW, and stick welding to a high standard.
Carry out cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembly tasks.
Complete site installation, maintenance, and shutdown work when required.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Assist with workshop housekeeping and the maintenance of equipment and tools.




Complete timesheets and other required project documentation accurately.
Work effectively within a team to meet project deadlines.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
High-quality welding and fabrication skills.
Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
White Card.
Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets are highly regarded but not essential.
Willingness to travel for site work and shutdowns when required.
