We are seeking an organised, proactive, and friendly Full time Intermediate Accountant to join our close-knit, professional team.
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Accountant with 2 years' Australian tax and public practice experience to join our team.
This hands-on role offers variety, regular client contact, and the opportunity to build your skills in a supportive team environment.
Please note this is a Full Time, on-site role, with hours of 8.30am till 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
Preparation of BAS, IAS, and other compliance obligations
Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
Liaising directly with clients regarding accounting and taxation matters
Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Working closely with directors and senior accountants to meet client and lodgement deadlines.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a genuine interest in taxation and accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
To be considered you will have:
Minimum 2 years of accounting & tax experience in an accounting practice is essential.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business or Commerce
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards
Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word & Excel
Knowledge of accounting software, including HandiSoft,



MYOB AE and AR, Xero, Class, FuseSign is ideal but experience with comparable programs will suffice.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise conflicting deadlines, and work efficiently.
Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with the right to work in Australia.
