? Junior Einsteins Nurturing Centre – Shell Heights is our newest service, recently rated as EXCEEDING the National Quality Standards.
Shell Heights has been operating since July ****, focusing on creating an inclusive environment for all our children.
This new state of the art centre is opened 52 weeks a year, catering for 125 children per day, aged 6 weeks – 6 years of age, from 6:30am – 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, closed on public holidays.
Our new service consists of a 4-room centre, each with their own specially designed outdoor spaces with an additional 3 extra-curricular rooms to further extend upon children's learning; our creative Art Studio, the Children's Library and the Kid's Kitchen/ Science Lab.
? Junior Einsteins Nurturing Centre – Blackbutt and Junior Einsteins Nurturing Centre - Flinders have been established within the Shellharbour region since **** & ****, providing the children with a collaborative setting in our one room centre.
Our Blackbutt and Flinders services are opened 50 weeks a year, closing for 2 weeks over the Christmas break.
These services cater for 33 children per day, from the ages of 2 to 5 years, with opening hours from 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, closed on public holidays.
Both our Blackbutt and Flinders services include a newly renovated outdoor environment,



filled with natural elements and opportunities for exploration and play.
We believe the educators within a service are the foundations and fundamental components of a centre.
We have 2 x Full Time Certificate III Trainee positions available at our Shell Heights service, and 1 x Full Time Certificate Trainee position available at our Flinders service.
These positions will commence from August ****.
This role would be suitable for a recent school leaver interested in starting a career in early childhood education!
Appeals for Training Educators Interested in Obtaining a Certificate III Qualification:
Course fees fully covered
18 month contract with the service and Traineeship Board
6 monthly bonuses, up to $****, over the 18 month period, paid directly by the Government
3 hours of study time allocated each week to complete course work at the service
As training educators, the appointed persons will have the opportunity to learn how to interact, engage and nurture children's eagerness to learn within their role as an educator.
The successful candidates will be required to gain and develop the necessary skills while working within the early childhood education setting, providing individuals with the opportunity to gain experience first hand.
The appointed persons will be required to work within a collaborative work environment and continue to build and foster the relationship existing between the centre, our families and community overall.
As passionate training educators who show an eagerness to learn and build upon their knowledge, the successful applicants will work in collaboration with the team of educators to develop an understanding of National Regulations and Law, NQF, EYLF and other relevant Early Childhood literature.

NSW Working with Children's Check (if over 18 years of age) or willing to obtain.
Completed Year 10 Certificate, or at least 16 years of age.
A passion for children's learning and development.
A nurturing, kind and loving personality, with eagerness to learn and develop necessary skills as an early childhood educator.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisation skills.
Excellent computer literacy skills.
