We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Commissioning Specialist to play a key role in the safe and successful delivery of complex commissioning activities across brownfield and greenfield environments.
This is an excellent chance for a commissioning professional with strong electrical expertise to contribute to critical project milestones, work alongside high-performing teams, and support operational readiness on large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and promote a strong commissioning safety culture across all activities
Provide technical expertise for electrical commissioning and system handovers
Manage commissioning priorities, schedules, completions and close-out activities
Ensure commissioning activities are completed in accordance with approved procedures
Support electrical switching programs, system energisation and commissioning execution
Coordinate commissioning documentation and completion records
Ensure commissioning spares, integrity requirements and handover deliverables are effectively managed
Work closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
10+ years' experience in electrical commissioning,
project delivery or operational readiness roles
Current WA Electrical Licence
Strong understanding of HV and LV switching programs
Experience with electrical protection systems and commissioning methodologies
Exposure to oil & gas, energy, resources or heavy industrial projects
Experience with ABB switchgear highly regarded
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Strong commitment to safety, quality and project delivery excellence
Flexibility to attend site as required
