Candidates must be based in Darwin or willing to relocate and have lived in Australia for the past 5 years.

About The Role
In this role, you will lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities across NT Government digital transformation initiatives, including cross-agency projects involving multiple stakeholders, systems, and integration points.
You will own and drive the overall testing strategy, lead testing across all phases (System, Integration, UAT, and Production Verification), and ensure quality outcomes through effective governance, traceability, and risk management.
This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder engagement to ensure testing activities are delivered efficiently and aligned with project objectives.
Essential Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with ISTQB (or equivalent) certification.
Proven experience leading testing within large, complex ICT environments involving integrations and multi-system landscapes.




Strong expertise in test strategy, planning, execution, and defect management.
Experience using test and defect management tools, such as Jira or equivalent.
Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies across multiple testing phases.
Ability to interpret functional and technical requirements to ensure effective test coverage.
Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and business units.
Demonstrated capability managing testing risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting.
Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience resolving complex defects.
Working knowledge of SQL Server or similar data platforms.
Proven accountability in reporting testing outcomes to project and governance stakeholders.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience delivering within government or highly regulated environments.
Experience in policing, justice, emergency services, or similar operational domains.
