About the role:
Carinity Education Shalom is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate primary teacher who thrives in a trauma-informed,
culturally responsive and supportive environment.
You'll play a
vital role in using a holistic approach that supports the
spiritual, cultural, and educational growth of your students,
fostering their wellbeing, development, and success both in and out
of the classroom.

Your day-to-day will involve:
Creating a safe, inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally
responsive learning environment
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the
Australian Curriculum that support students' learning and
personal growth
Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing timely
and constructive feedback
Build strong, respectful relationships with students,
families, and staff by demonstrating unconditional positive
regard and consistent role modelling.
Collaborate across teams by participating in planning,
debrief sessions, and school wide activities such as
excursions, camps, and assemblies.
Maintain accurate records and reporting, including student
assessments, attendance, behaviour incidents, and learning
outcomes.
Uphold safety, child protection, and Christian values,
ensuring a calm, secure school environment in line with
organisational ethos and policies.
About you:




We are looking for the right teacher to build strong, respectful
relationships with everyone in our school community, from students
and teachers to families and support staff.
You'll bring a
compassionate and calm approach to supporting young people,
especially those at risk, helping guide their growth with patience,
understanding, and care.
In addition,
Qualified and a QCT registered teacher
Robust classroom management, high expectations teaching,
culturally responsive and trauma-informed practice
Possession of valid Driver's Licence
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Alignment with Carinity's Christian ethos and values of
compassion, respect and teamwork
