As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of our project through the effective coordination of freight, equipment, materials, and logistics operations.
About the RoleReporting to the Project Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all project logistics activities to ensure the safe, compliant, and timely movement of materials, equipment, plant, consumables, and dangerous goods to and from project sites.
This is a diverse and hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while ensuring compliance with biosecurity, dangerous goods, transport, and maritime requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:
Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements across multiple projects.
Develop mobilisation, demobilisation, and freight schedules.
Coordinate packing, loading, unloading, and container management activities.
Prepare cargo manifests, packing lists, freight bookings, shipping instructions, and transport documentation.
Coordinate dangerous goods (DG) packaging, labelling, declarations, and compliance documentation.
Arrange biosecurity inspections, cleaning, wash-downs, fumigation, and quarantine requirements.
Monitor freight movements and provide regular updates to project teams.
Coordinate receipt, storage, tracking,



and dispatch of project materials and equipment.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport providers, shipping agents, port operators, and regulatory authorities.
Maintain accurate logistics records, asset tracking, and inventory controls.
Identify logistics risks and implement practical solutions to minimise project impacts.
Ensure all logistics activities comply with Company HSEQ standards and legislative requirements.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
Minimum 3 years' experience in logistics, freight, transport, supply chain, or project coordination.
Experience coordinating sea freight, container movements, freight documentation, and project logistics.
Working knowledge of Dangerous Goods transport requirements and associated documentation.
Strong administration, document control, and record management skills.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
A proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail.
Desirable
Dangerous Goods Awareness or DG Certification.
IMDG Code training or maritime logistics experience.
Forklift Licence.
Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation.
Experience supporting construction, marine, offshore, remote, or regional projects.
