About Our ClientOur client is a growing transport and logistics company based in Bellevue, providing reliable transport and freight solutions across Western Australia.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and highly organised Operations & Accounts Administrator to join their team on a maternity leave contract.
This is a diverse and hands-on role combining accounts administration, payroll, customer service and operational support.
For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to transition into an ongoing part-time position following the maternity leave period.
About the RoleThis role is integral to the day-to-day operations of the business and requires a highly organised, proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail.
Working closely with management and operational staff, your responsibilities will include:
Processing weekly payroll and payroll administration
Superannuation processing and reporting
Customer invoicing and account management
Driver payment processing (RCTIs)
Accounts payable and supplier payments
Bank reconciliations and transaction allocations
Preparation of customer statements
Debt collection and accounts receivable follow-up
Department of Transport registrations and permit payments
Setting up new suppliers and subcontractors
Employee onboarding and general HR administration




Customer service and account enquiries
General administration and operational support
Assisting with the implementation and integration of business systems and software
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in accounts administration, office management or a similar role
Strong working knowledge of Xero
Experience processing payroll and superannuation
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
A professional, proactive and customer-focused approach
A strong commitment to reliability, punctuality and attendance
This role requires attendance and readiness to commence work at the designated start time of 7:30am each day.
Previous experience within the transport, logistics or freight industry will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
