PJL Group is a specialised underground hard rock maintenance and asset supply company.
We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team on a long-term mining project in Kanmantoo, South Australia.
The Kanmantoo operation is located approximately one hour southeast of the Adelaide CBD in the Adelaide Hills region.
Surrounding towns include Mount Barker, Murray Bridge, Hahndorf and Strathalbyn.
PJL Group is responsible for the supply and maintenance of the underground mining fleet for Hillgrove Resources.
The fleet primarily consists of Sandvik, Caterpillar and Volvo underground mining equipment, supported from dedicated workshop facilities onsite.
About the Role As a Boilermaker, you will undertake surface-based fabrication, repair and maintenance work across mining equipment and components.
Your responsibilities will include:
Completing general repairs and fabrication work on mining equipment Repairing and maintaining buckets, truck tubs and other heavy equipment components Performing welding, cutting and structural repairs Inspecting equipment and identifying repair requirements Working efficiently to minimise equipment downtime Maintaining a high standard of workmanship,



safety and quality Contributing to a productive and supportive team environment About You To be successful in this position, you will have: A recognised Boilermaker or Fabrication Trade qualification Experience completing repairs on mining or heavy mobile equipment Experience repairing buckets, truck tubs and similar components Strong welding and fabrication skills A robust commitment to workplace safety and quality The ability to work accurately with minimal supervision A reliable and team-focused approach The ability to contribute to an efficient workflow and minimise downtime Previous mining or heavy industry experience will be highly regarded.Perks
