About the Role
Location: Based in Old Beach at our beautiful child and family service; telehealth and outreach at a child's school is also an option
Hours: 2–3 days per week, with flexible scheduling to suit your lifestyle
Type: Contractor or Casual position, maternity leave cover 6-12 month contract
Client Load: ***** clients per week

What we need from you:




Relevant qualifications at a tertiary level for the position you are applying for
A Bachelor or Master level qualification in a relevant mental health or allied health field (e.g. Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Play Therapy).
Please note: A Diploma in Counselling may be considered.
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting children and families in a therapeutic or educational context
Current membership or registration with your professional governing body
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card and National Police Check
Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance (up to $10 million) for contractors
An active ABN for invoicing purposes (if applying as a contractor)
Solid interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work respectfully with families and stakeholders
Excellent documentation and report writing skills with attention to clinical detail
A demonstrated commitment to child safety, trauma informed practice, confidentiality, and ethical best practice
