About the role
As a Program & Compliance Officer – Warburton Bike Park at Yarra Ranges Council, you will play a pivotal role in the successful establishment and ongoing operation of the Warburton Bike Park. You will oversee the park's operational budget, governance and funding requirements while ensuring compliance, risk and audit obligations are met, supporting its success as a world-class bike park and ecotourism destination. As part of the park's operational team, you will also participate in a weekend and after-hours roster to help deliver effective seven-day-a-week management of this exciting community asset.
This is a full-time permanent position (38 hours per week).
This is a Band 6 role with a salary range between $98,432 and $107,292 per annum, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we're looking for
• Manage the park's budgets, financial reporting and funding acquittals.
• Coordinate governance, compliance and audit activities.
• Monitor legislative, risk and operational compliance requirements.
• Support emergency planning, procurement and contract management.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.




• Provide reporting and insights to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
• Great organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with diverse customers.
