Role Overview
Quality Rugs and Furniture is seeking a dynamic
Sales and Marketing Manager
to drive revenue growth and brand visibility across our Pakenham and Shepparton showrooms.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Performance Management:
Set and monitor monthly sales KPIs for both locations; conduct regular store visits to coach staff on consultative selling techniques and product knowledge.
Merchandising Strategy:
Collaborate with store teams to ensure floor layouts maximize high-margin product exposure and reflect seasonal trends.
Customer Experience:
Oversee the end-to-end customer journey, from initial digital inquiry to in-store consultation and post-purchase follow-up.
Marketing & Brand Growth
Local Area Marketing (LAM):
Execute localized campaigns for Pakenham and Shepparton to drive foot traffic, including community partnerships, letterbox drops, and local press.
Digital Presence:
Manage social media accounts (Facebook/Instagram) with localized content, oversee Google Business Profiles (SEO),



and manage targeted Meta/Google Ads budgets.
Campaign Execution:
Lead the planning and execution of seasonal sales events (e.g., End of Financial Year, Boxing Day, Black Friday) across all channels.
Skill & Experience
Selection Criteria
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years in a retail management or multi-site marketing role, preferably within furniture, homewares, or interior design.
Travel:
Ability to travel regularly between Pakenham and Shepparton to maintain physical presence at both showrooms.
Digital Literacy:
Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and basic content creation tools (Canva or Adobe Express).
Commercial Acumen:
Robust ability to interpret sales reports, manage advertising spend (ROAS), and adjust tactics based on real-time data.
Soft Skills:
Proven ability to motivate diverse teams and maintain brand consistency across different geographic markets.
