With a strong pipeline of exciting commercial, government, education, light industrial and hospitality/retail projects, we are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Electrician to join our delivery team.
This is a hands-on, site-based leadership position suited to a capable commercial electrician who can lead from the front, coordinate daily activities and support the Supervisor in keeping the project safe, productive and on program.
The RoleThis is a hands-on position where you will remain a productive member of the electrical team, while also taking on additional leadership and coordination responsibilities.
As Leading Hand, you will help manage the day-to-day activities of electricians and apprentices across the assigned project.
Some of these responsibilities will include:
Lead and coordinate electricians and apprentices across multiple active work fronts
Allocate daily tasks and monitor progress against the program
Maintain robust safety, workmanship and QA standards
Identify and escalate material, access or coordination issues early

What We're Looking For
Current WA A-Grade Electrical Licence and Industry White Card
Solid commercial construction or fit-out experience
Previous Leading Hand experience or similar (desirable)
Confident leading & mentoring teams on site
Strong technical acumen & ability to interpret project documentation
Organised, proactive individual, with an understanding of how to maintain productivity
High standards for safety, quality and workmanship accountability
Clear communicator who works well with stakeholders, clients and other trades
Positive attitude with the drive to take ownership and set the standards for the rest of the crew.
Highly Regarded
EWP and Working at Heights qualifications
National Police Clearance or willingness to apply
LVR and CPR certification
Experience using SimPRO & Microsoft Sharepoint
