Accountant
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established and highly regarded accounting firm in a full-time, office-based position.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant, or a strong Intermediate Accountant who is ready to take the next step into a Senior-level role.

The Opportunity
Working across a diverse portfolio of clients, you will take ownership of accounting and taxation requirements while building strong relationships and providing quality advice and support.
Your responsibilities may include:
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
Preparation of BAS, IAS and other compliance requirements
Managing a portfolio of business clients
Working across companies, trusts, partnerships and individual entities
Providing taxation and general business advice
Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
Assisting and mentoring junior and intermediate accountants where required
Working closely with Managers and Partners
Ensuring work is completed accurately and within required timeframes
Supporting clients with their ongoing accounting and compliance needs
About You
We would love to speak with candidates who have:
Previous experience as a Senior Accountant within public practice,
or
Strong Intermediate Accountant experience and are ready to step up
Solid knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting requirements
Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a collaborative team
Relevant accounting qualifications
CA or CPA qualifications, or progress towards these, will be highly regarded
