The OpportunityWe are expanding our Speech Pathology network and are seeking experienced, independently practising Speech Pathologists to provide high-quality services to NDIS participants across Australia.We are looking for clinicians who are confident managing their own caseload, providing evidence-based assessment and intervention, and delivering high-quality clinical documentation in accordance with NDIS requirements and Speech Pathology Australia qualified standards.This is not a graduate, new graduate or supervised position.
Applicants must be capable of practising independently without ongoing clinical supervision or mentoring.About the RoleAs an Independent Contractor, you may provide services including:Comprehensive speech, language and communication assessmentsFunctional communication assessmentsComprehensive speech pathology reportsNDIS progress reportsNDIS review reportsFunctional Capacity Assessment contributions where applicableSpeech sound disorder assessment and interventionReceptive and expressive language interventionSocial communication interventionAutism assessment support and interventionEarly childhood communication interventionLiteracy support where appropriateAAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) assessment and implementationMealtime management and dysphagia services (within your competency)Parent and caregiver coachingSchool and preschool consultationCapacity building for families, educators and support teamsCollaboration with Behaviour Support Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists, Support Coordinators and other stakeholdersNDIS-compliant documentation and clinical record keepingMandatory RequirementsApplicants must have:Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia (Certified Practising Speech Pathologist preferred)Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech PathologyMinimum two (2)
