Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following five (5) criteria.
These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.
Demonstrated experience in developing and planning marine monitoring programs, with a particular focus on fish communities, including knowledge of marine fishes and on experience leading field teams.
Demonstrated experience using marine field and analytical tools, including remotely operated vehicles (ROVs),
baited underwater videos (BRUVs) and diver operated video systems (DOVs), image analysis software/online annotation platforms (e.g. EventMeasure, ReefCloud, SQUIDLE+).
Demonstrated experience developing and conducting applied marine research in collaboration with others to inform management and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
Demonstrated capability in database management, data analysis and statistical approaches applied to marine science.
Robust communication skills, including the ability to convey scientific information to a range of audiences.
