Hunter Manning are supporting our client, a well-established and family-owned WA business, in their search for an experienced Senior Accountant to cover a maternity leave contract.This is a fantastic chance for a qualified accountant to step into a senior, hands-on role and make an immediate impact within a well established finance team.
The RoleReporting to the CFO, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial accounting function, including:
Leading month-end close and preparing group financial reporting Preparing board-ready financial information and supporting the leadership team with analysis and insights Managing statutory compliance, including BAS,
GST and payroll tax Reviewing and improving reconciliation processes across finance systems Liaising with internal stakeholders across the business to resolve queries and support decision-making Assisting with the preparation of financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards About You CA/CPA qualified with minimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience Proven experience owning month-end close and reporting processes with minimal oversight Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date understanding of relevant standards Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems Available to commit to the full length of the contract, with minimal notice period Based in Perth, with full working rights in Australia Why ApplyThis is a great opportunity to step into a senior finance role, work closely with an experienced leadership team, and make a genuine impact during a critical period for the business.To apply, please submit your CV.
