About the role
WA Vascular Centre is expanding, and we are seeking 1 - 2 enthusiastic Medical Admin staff to join our growing team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to progress into a permanent part-time role (2-5 days per fortnight).
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established and expanding specialist vascular and imaging practice.
As our services continue to grow across Perth, we are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and administrative support within a qualified healthcare environment.
Working closely with our vascular specialists and vascular imaging clinical team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our clinics and delivering an outstanding experience for our patients.
The position is based primarily at our Mount Lawley clinic (WA ****), with opportunities to work across our additional locations in Murdoch and Mandurah, and our new Joondalup clinic opening soon.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a member of our Medical Admin , your duties will include:
Managing patient appointments and scheduling to ensure efficient clinic operations
Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service
Processing referrals, patient registrations, imaging requests, and results
Maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with privacy and confidentiality requirements
Handling enquiries from patients, referring doctors,
hospitals, and healthcare professionals in a professional and courteous manner
Assisting vascular specialists and sonographers with administrative preparation for consultations and procedures
Supporting billing, invoicing, Medicare and health fund enquiries
Performing general administrative duties including correspondence, filing, scanning, and data entry
Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the practice and supporting the wider team as required
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
Previous experience in medical administration, medical reception, or a healthcare environment
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A friendly, professional, and patient-focused approach
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management
Confidence using computer systems and medical practice software
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes (highly regarded)
An understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy obligations
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
Flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role
