Job DescriptionThe Trustee for FARE AND SQUARE FAMILY TRUST As a Cook at Fare and Square Café, I was responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fresh café-style meals while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
I worked efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen, ensuring orders were prepared accurately and delivered promptly during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities: Prepared and cooked breakfast, lunch, and café menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Assisted with food preparation, portioning, and presentation to ensure consistency.
Maintained cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and food preparation areas.
Followed food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
Monitored stock levels, rotated ingredients, and assisted with inventory management to minimize waste.




Worked collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Operated kitchen equipment safely and reported any maintenance issues.
Assisted with receiving and storing deliveries in accordance with food safety procedures.
Helped develop daily specials and contributed ideas for menu improvements when required.
