This contract opportunity is ideal for a proactive engineer who enjoys automation, troubleshooting complex environments, and driving operational excellence within AWS cloud ecosystems.
Your new role As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of critical platforms supporting websites, identity services, and backend APIs.
You will work closely with technical teams to automate processes, enhance monitoring capabilities, and ensure cloud services remain highly available and performant.
What you'll need to succeed
Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.
Support cloud services, system administration, and networking environments.
Monitor platform health through monitoring and alerting systems, responding proactively to incidents.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of AWS-hosted services and applications.
Document operational processes, procedures, and technical solutions.




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and resilient platform services.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to best-practice operational standards.Skills & Experience
Experience in programming and scripting with a focus on automation.
Strong knowledge of cloud services, system administration, and networking concepts.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
Proven ability to automate manual processes and improve system reliability.
Experience supporting critical AWS-based platforms and services.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving capabilities.
