Store Person – Entry Level
Roster: 14:14 – FIFO Perth
About the role:
Meeka Metals Limited (MEK) has just built Western Australia's newest gold mine, and key to our success is securing a proactive Procurement / Store Person to join the team at their flagship site - Murchison Gold Project, 50 km north of Meekatharra.
The project is a combined open pit and underground gold mining operation with an initial 10-year mine life.
Open pit mining commenced in March **** and the Underground mining commenced in July ****.
A second Underground will start in late ****.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Accurately create and monitor purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and addressing delays or discrepancies.
Support internal stakeholders with purchasing needs and requirements by providing guidance and support to ensure their procurement goals are met.
Load and unload parts and consumables for inbound and outbound freight.
Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions and stock levels.
Maintain high levels of housekeeping in the warehouse and yard.
Required skills and experience:
Developed numeracy, written and verbal communication skills.
Proactive attitude and a willingness to develop knowledge.




The ability to coordinate and prioritize workloads.
Display sound judgement and problem-solving abilities.
The ability to work independently and unsupervised.
The ability to work permanent nightshift with occasional dayshift blocks.
Ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to details in all tasks undertaken.
Forklift Ticket (Essential).
Current unencumbered C Western Australian Drivers License.
