About the RoleAs our Medical Receptionist, you'll be the welcoming face and voice of the practice.
You'll play a key role in ensuring patients receive exceptional service while helping our doctors and clinical team deliver quality healthcare.
Your day may include:
· Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
· Managing appointments,
phone enquiries and patient communications
· Registering patients and maintaining accurate medical records
· Processing Medicare, billing and payments
· Scanning, filing and general administrative duties
· Maintaining strict patient confidentiality
· Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
· Working closely with doctors, nurses and fellow reception staff as part of a collaborative team
About YouYou'll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
You'll have:
· Experience in a medical reception
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
· The ability to remain calm, compassionate and qualified in a fast-paced environment
· Confidence using computer systems (experience with medical software is essential)
· Current CPR and First Aid certification, or a willingness to obtain
