The Role: Building the Innovation EcosystemLead ICOVE's Innovation function to build the systems, partnerships, and investment opportunities that drive innovation across Australia's First Nations vocational education sector.
As a founding executive leader, you will establish the frameworks that turn ambitious ideas into national impact.
Here's What You'll Be Leading
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of ICOVE's national Innovation Workplan.
Establish governance and prioritisation frameworks to evaluate and progress innovation opportunities.
Build strategic partnerships across government, ACCOs, industry, education, and national stakeholders.
Identify funding opportunities and develop business cases to support future innovation initiatives.
Build and lead a high-performing Innovation team while representing ICOVE nationally.
Your Profile: Strategic, Curious and Collaborative
Demonstrated experience leading innovation, transformation, or strategic programs within complex organisations.
Proven ability to establish systems, governance, and frameworks that support innovation and growth.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills across government, industry, education, or community sectors.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex strategic initiatives.
Relevant qualification in Business, Innovation, Project Management,



or a related discipline is highly regarded.
