We are seeking a highly organised and people-focused Volunteer and Corporate Engagement Coordinator who can confidently operate both behind the scenes and out in the community.
This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives on structure, coordination and planning, while also being comfortable representing Uniting WA in external settings, including corporate programs, schools, and community events.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Community and Corporate Engagement, you will lead the coordination and continuous improvement of volunteer and corporate engagement activities across Uniting WA.
This role requires a someone who can:
Manage the day-to-day administration and coordination of volunteer programs with solid organisational and time-management skills
Plan, organise and deliver engagement initiatives and events
Act as a confident ambassador for Uniting WA, presenting to corporate partners, schools and community groups
Play a key role in ensuring Uniting WA is recognised as a volunteering organisation of choice.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end volunteer lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, rostering and ongoing support
Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records and databases
Lead the planning and logistical coordination of volunteer and corporate engagement activities
Deliver and support presentations and engagement sessions across corporate partners, schools and community settings
Facilitate and represent Uniting WA at the Recipe for Change corporate program
Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, community stakeholders and internal teams
Monitor, evaluate and report on engagement activities to support continuous improvement
Support leaders with volunteer role design, performance matters and compliance requirements
Ensure all programs align with WHS, risk and legislative standards
About You:
You will bring
Strong administration, coordination and organisational skills – you are structured, detail-focused and reliable
A high level of organisation and proven ability to plan and manage multiple activities simultaneously
Confidence in presenting to groups and representing an organisation externally
Experience engaging with corporate, community or school stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build relationships across a diverse range of people and backgrounds
A proactive, adaptable approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A genuine interest in community engagement and volunteer support
Your experience & qualification will include
Experience in volunteer coordination, program coordination or community engagement
Qualifications in a relevant area such as Community Development, HR, Marketing or similar (desirable)
Knowledge of volunteer management practices and frameworks
Experience delivering presentations or facilitating group sessions
Strong IT skills including MS Office and database systems
Experience in the community services/Not-For-Profit sector (highly regarded)
Requirements
Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Current WA Driver's Licence
