As a key member of our accounting team, you will manage a portfolio of client taxation matters and play an important role in providing quality advice and supporting our growing client base.This role provides the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including primary producers, small businesses, family trusts, partnerships, and corporate entities, while applying your technical skills to deliver practical taxation solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvising clients on tax planning strategies, including primary production taxation matters such as Farm Management Deposits (FMDs), primary production averaging, Division 7A loan compliance, and small business CGT concessionsPreparation and lodgement of individual, partnership, trust, and company income tax returns, including preparation of FBT, BAS, and IAS obligationsReviewing financial statements for tax compliance and accurate taxdisclosureConducting client tax interviews to understand their needs and provide tailored taxation solutionsManaging ATO correspondence, audits,



and compliance obligationsSupporting and mentoring junior staff while actively contributing to the firm's growth initiativesSkills, Experience and QualificationsYou'll bring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach to your work.We are looking for someone with:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline (essential)Minimum 3 years of experience in a taxation accounting roleCPA Australia, CA ANZ, or IPA membership, or progress toward membership, is highly regardedStrong working knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and ATO compliance requirementsExperience with accounting software (Sage, HandiLedger, MYOB, Xero, orsimilar)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishDemonstrated ability to manage client relationships independentlyExperience with primary production, agricultural, or regional business taxation (advantageous)EligibilityApplicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents to be considered for this role.LocationThis is an on-site position based in Mildura, Victoria ****, Australia.
