The Lucas Group is excited to partner with an Australian-owned crop protection company to find a Market Development Agronomist.
This role will become the technical face of the business, supporting the development, validation and adoption of innovative crop protection solutions.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the National Market Development Manager, you'll lead market development activities across Western Australia and support South Australian operations where required.
This is a highly technical, customer-facing role, combining field trials, technical extension, product stewardship and industry engagement.
While you won't carry a sales budget, your technical expertise will directly influence product adoption and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and managing demonstration, and market development field trials
Presenting technical information to growers, agronomists and resellers
Supporting new product launches and commercialisation of the R&D; pipeline
Translating trial results into practical agronomic recommendations
Providing technical support on product performance and agronomic use
Building trusted relationships with consultants, grower groups, researchers and industry influencers
Gathering market intelligence to help shape future product development
You'll Bring
Tertiary qualifications in Agronomy, Agricultural Science or similar
An established network across resellers, agronomists and farm consultants
Experience in agronomy, crop protection,



field trials or market development
Strong knowledge of broadacre cropping systems, particularly in WA
Presentation skills and ability to clearly communicate technical information
A collaborative approach and strong relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel throughout regional WA (approximately *****%)
