An established and growing specialist non bank lender is seeking a technically strong Residential Specialist to join the team on a 12-month contract.
This is a unique chance for someone with deep home lending knowledge and hands-on experience using Connective and Mercury to step into a senior support role with a robust training and capability-building focus.
Working closely with Consultants and the broader operations team, you will play a critical role in managing loan pipelines, supporting clients from application through to settlement, and uplifting the technical capability of both local and remote teams.
The Opportunity
Support an established residential lending portfolio and existing client base
Act as a key contact for clients, lenders and referral partners
Train and mentor an existing Perth-based Client Liaison
Upskill and coach remote processing teams
Create and document clear,
repeatable processes and workflows
Provide support across multiple queues during periods of leave or high volumes
Guide applications from submission through to settlement and post-settlement
Liaise with lenders, conveyancers, agents and internal stakeholders to keep deals moving
About YouTo be successful, you'll bring:
Previous experience in a residential Lending Specialsit, broker support or mortgage operations role
Strong working knowledge of Connective and Mercury (essential)
Sound understanding of lender policies and residential lending processes
Experience assessing income documents and completing servicing calculations
Exposure to major lenders including ANZ, Westpac, NAB and Macquarie
The confidence and technical expertise to coach and support other team members
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
A calm, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
Desirable Experience
Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking
FBAA or MFAA accreditation
Experience training, onboarding or mentoring team members
Exposure to offshore or remote processing teams
