Club Operations Manager (Part time – 24 Hours per Week)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and community-minded Club Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the club.
This permanent part-time role (24 hours per week) offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to work closely with a passionate volunteer Board and contribute to the continued success of an award-winning club.
About the Role
As Club Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the club, ensuring our facilities, services and events are delivered to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the licensed clubhouse and bar, including staff coordination, stock control, supplier management, financial administration and regulatory compliance.
Club administration and member services.
Membership, sponsor invoicing and financial administration.
Venue hire, court bookings and event coordination.
Website management, member communications and stakeholder engagement.
Contractor, supplier and facility management, including oversight of clubhouse maintenance.
Preparing operational and financial reports for the Board.
Supporting the implementation of Board decisions and strategic initiatives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in administration, operations, hospitality or venue management, preferably within a sporting club, licensed venue, hospitality, community or not-for-profit environment.
Experience managing bar or hospitality operations, including staff coordination, stock control, supplier relationships and regulatory compliance, is highly regarded.
Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with members, volunteers, suppliers and contractors.
Sound financial administration skills, including invoicing, banking, stock management and the use of business systems such as Microsoft Office; experience with Xero is highly regarded.
A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work collaboratively with a volunteer Board to achieve operational outcomes.
A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate, or the willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
