The Town is seeking a full-time, motivated and skilled individual to help coordinate and design a wide range of infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
The role will work within a team of sixteen and directly report to the Manager Assets and Design.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
Coordinating and delivering high-quality design projects in accordance with statutory requirements.
Ensure civil infrastructure construction projects are delivered within budget constraints, managing contract payments, claims, and variations while providing input into the 5-year capital works program.
Providing technical support and advice to internal and external stakeholders relating to Town assets and projects.
Preparing correspondence, reports and letters to various audiences including Council, contractors and submissions for Federal and State grants.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software and significant experience in engineering and infrastructure design.
They should have, or made substantive progress, tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or related fields.
They will demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
A valid driver's license is required for this position.
