We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician to join and work with our team of hardworking professionals who share a common drive to make a difference in the industry.
The role includes but is not limited to: Perform regular scheduled maintenance service on a range of vehicle or equipment
Use computerised diagnostic tools to identify problems with mechanical parts of vehicles and equipment.
Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, and reassembling mechanical components referring to service manuals as needed Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance Complete and maintain service and inspection documentations ensuring its compliance
Ensure vehicles and equipment meet safety and quality standards May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness May respond to vehicle or equipment breakdown service calls
Maintain a tidy work workplace and adhering to health and safety regulations.
To be considered for this role, you must have: Mechanical Technician trade qualification or equivalent
Strong mechanical knowledge on a wide variety of vehicle and equipment Competency using diagnostic equipment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment Strong communication skills Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
