The RoleReporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll lead the Internal Sales & Customer Service team and ensure customers receive outstanding service every day.
You'll be responsible for:
Managing quote turnaround times and follow-up activity
Driving sales pipeline follow-up and customer responsiveness




Ensuring exceptional customer service and phone coverage
Coordinating workflow across a team of three, including remote staff
Monitoring performance, priorities and productivity
Providing daily reporting to the Managing Director
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
Supporting the team with customer enquiries and operational priorities
About YouYou'll ideally have:
Experience leading a customer service, internal sales or sales support team
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to manage both office-based and remote team members
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
A hands-on leadership style and strong work ethic
Experience within industrial distribution, wholesale, building products, manufacturing or trade-related industries will be highly regarded, however leadership capability, attitude and the ability to drive outcomes are what matter most.
