The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team.
The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, leading financial and investment strategy, and delivering comprehensive financial reporting.
This role is pivotal in supporting the organization's growth and infrastructure plans, particularly in the context of the redevelopment of key facilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Board, Managing Director, and executive team, and will be expected to have a strong background in financial operations, performance, and decision-making to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization.
Key responsibilities for the CFO include overseeing the modernisation of finance systems, leading a high-performing finance team, and managing procurement and commercial activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent, a qualified accounting certification (CA or CPA), and a proven track record of executive-level financial leadership in a large organization.
Experience in capital expenditure planning, budgeting, and financial analysis is essential, as is the ability to provide financial input into commercial opportunities arising from research activities.
While not mandatory, experience in a healthcare or clinical service delivery environment and a background in intellectual property commercialisation are highly regarded.
The role demands a leader with strong strategic thinking, people management skills, and the ability to influence and drive outcomes in a collaborative manner.
