FIFO EUC Technician
Initial 6 months contract with a global mining client
FIFO Roster is 8 days on 6 days off
Experience Level 2, Level 3 Desktop Support within mining exposure
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Site Support Technician to oversee IT service delivery across a dynamic mining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide IT support across mine site operations, ensuring reliable service delivery and user satisfaction.
Support and troubleshoot end-user technology including desktops, mobile devices, printers, and AV equipment.
Work closely with infrastructure, network, and project teams to maintain IT systems and services.
Manage, track, and resolve IT incidents, escalating critical issues when required.
Monitor IT service performance, compliance, and SLA requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure stable and effective IT operations.
Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset records.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support IT projects across the site.
Skills & Knowledge Required
University degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience
Experience in IT services, technical support, and supervisory roles within mining environments
Mine site-based IT support experience
Self-driven leader with a proactive and strategic approach to IT service delivery




Strong IT operations knowledge, including customer and vendor relationship management
Knowledge of facilities and infrastructure including data centres, communications rooms, video conferencing, access control, printing, HVAC/UPS, cabling, and related services
Experience with radio communications and large-scale WiFi networks
Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of an organisation
